At an event held at the auditorium at the medical college campus, the foundation course for first MBBS was inaugurated at the hands of Dean Dr. R.K. Sharma.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sharma gave an induction seminar for the phase 1 of MBBS to the students.	An orientation programme was also held simultaneously for the parents of the students.
