Department of Anaesthesiology in association with Society of Anaesthesia KOLHAPUR conducted National PG Assembly on 17,18 ,19 Jan.2020. It was inaugurated at auspicious hands of Dr.Ashok Deshpande (GC member West zone ISA). The conference included 1) 8 Workshops 2) 8 Actual case presentations by students(simulating the exams). 3) Lectures from renowned Faculties and Teacher’s from Mumbai, Manglore, Banglore, Hubli, Belgaum, Pune, Aurangabad,Karad etc. Almost 200 Students and Consultants from Maharashtra and Karnataka were benefited by this Conference. Along with Academic sessions there were non-academic talks as well….Stress management for PG’s. An excellent presentation by Dr.Hitendra Mahajan on his journey from Mumbai to Khatmandu on cycle and walking to top of Mount Everest ….”Mission Sea to Sky” was really mesmerizing. ISA Maharashtra chapter President Dr.Milind Pol, Secretary Dr.Asegaonkar we’re few of the dignitaries attending the conference. Dr I.J .Namazi Sir was specially felicitated for his contribution as Senior Teacher. PG students participated in POSTER PRESENTATION and Free PAPER PRESENTATION. Our DYP Students excelled in all competitions. Dr.Prithiv received 1st price for Paper presentation and 2nd for Essay competition. Dr.Manisha received 2nd Price for PAPER Presentation. Dr.Harish received 2nd Price for Poster Presentation. Overall feedback from the students and all Consultants is very encouraging. We thank Hon.President for his encouragement and cooperation.
